Sore throat when i sneaze?

ive had this sore throat for 7 weeks ,its only sore on the one side and only gets sore when i sneeze or sometimes when i wake up in the morning and is very painful .but usually calms down within an hour and dissapears ,only thing i can think of is that i was doing heavy weights and it was really stretching my neck also at the time i was sneezing constantly and this is when it started , i was in a seaxual act with my wife and she was very acidic down below and it was round about that time that this appeared ,i also have thoracic outlet syndrome can this be an effect of this ,sorry for the above but im trying to pin point what has caused this,my doctor has looked at my throat twice and said there is nothing nasty to worry about and that its sinus drainage
